{"id":2577,"date":"2020-03-01T22:30:43","date_gmt":"2020-03-02T03:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bergenfederationkofc.org\/?p=2577"},"modified":"2022-09-30T12:36:03","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T16:36:03","slug":"reminder-regarding-website-postings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bergenfederationkofc.org\/wordpress\/2577","title":{"rendered":"Reminder Regarding Website Postings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Brothers,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Just some reminders regarding policies and procedures for submitting postings for the website.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Events that are sponsored by the Bergen Federation, <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">First New Jersey District Fourth Degree, <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">New Jersey State Council, Supreme Council, or the Archdiocese of Newark appear on the Home page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Events that are Council\/Assembly sponsored appear on the Council Events page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All items to be posted <strong><em><u>must go through the Federation President<\/u><\/em><\/strong>, who will review the material to be posted.\u00a0 If approved, he will forward the information to me for posting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ideally, please submit your material <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong><u>AT LEAST 3 WEEKS<\/u><\/strong><\/em><\/span> before the date of your event.\u00a0 This will give the Federation President time to review the material and forward it to me.\u00a0 In addition, your posting will have ample time to be on the website to be viewed by others who can respond to your events.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Postings are removed automatically after the event.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Want to be notified of events and news?\u00a0 If you aren&#8217;t receiving notifications about events and news and would like to, enter your name and e-mail address in the Federation Updates section of the home page and click Submit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lastly, and this is very important &#8211; If you are posting an event that involves bingo, raffle, tricky tray,\u00a0 et al, you will need to provide the your New Jersey Legalized Games of Change Control Commission Registration ID number <em><strong><u>and<\/u><\/strong><\/em> Raffle License number on your flyer.\u00a0 Since the Internet is public domain, you want to make sure your event is in compliance with New Jersey state regulations.\u00a0 Also, <strong><u>NEVER, EVER<\/u><\/strong> post material that mentions games of chance <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>and<\/strong><\/em><\/span> alcohol &#8211; the combination is not permitted under state regulations!!!\u00a0 If you have questions regarding this last point, please feel free to ask me.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dave Torebka, FDD, FS 2842<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Federation Webmaster<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brothers, Just some reminders regarding policies and procedures for submitting postings for the website.
