The following is from Brother Bill Mackey, Grand Knight of Queen of Peace Council 3428, North Arlington –

The arrangements for Brother John Wolf, Jr. are private due to the Corona virus and New Jersey Executive Order 107.  According to John’s wife, Joyce, and the Thiele-Reid Funeral Home Director, Mr. Steven Thiele, there will be no viewing, no Funeral Mass, and no graveside farewell and service.  Joyce, and John’s brother Frank, will see John at the funeral home on Thursday for their personal good-byes.  John’s casket will then be taken by the funeral home to Holy Cross Cemetery (which is closed to the public) where the cemetery staff will take possession of John and inter him in the family plot.  Sadly, this is how it is now in today’s world.  Joyce told me that she will plan a memorial service for John and she’d like to do it on September 20 which would have been their 40th Wedding Anniversary.  When things get back to normal and the plans are finalized, I’ll keep you all informed.  I’ve included John’s obituary from the Thiele-Reid website (see link below).   If anyone wishes to send Joyce a Mass card and/or their personal condolences, Joyce’s address is 77 Pavonia Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032-2230.

May God keep our Brother John in his eternal light and peace.
